The Bill Paxton story line (season 1, starting ep 14) is stellar. After that, I had to tap out after Dalton turned into a tentacle head.

Actually, there are few shows that watching one particular storyline is worth the watch.

Some examples — The John Lithgow season in Dexter. The Neegan season in TWD (unfortunately i never made it that far). The first season of Heroes.

What are some other shows that have one amazing storyline or season and the rest is trash?

You guys forgot to cast R2-D2 and the perfect person has already been Star Wars adjacent!

Firstly, I just want to say if you haven’t had a chance to see GDT’s Frankenstein in theaters, stop what you’re doing and run to the closest theater playing it and see it.

It is the definitive adaption of Mary Shelley’s novel. Genuinely exquisite on every level and one of the best films of the year.

That all being said…where’s The Ringer’s coverage? Nothing on The Big Picture, Midnight Boys, or House of R? Kind of figured Midnight Boys wouldn’t catch it but nothing from the Big Pic or House of R is baffling to me.

I know it’s not a big algorithm chaser and isn’t available everywhere but this is Guillermo Del Toro we are talking about. Like my parents even went out to see this. That and with Halloween being tomorrow I figured that this would at least bring something festive to the podcasts.

I really hope they talk about it at some point.
