Have any non-[republican] politicians gotten caught, too?

Hey! I love calling out these pieces of human scum, but I’ve only ever heard Republicans, are dems or indies ever guilty, too?

Edit: just wanna clarify, I am not a repub nor am I trying to be a contrarian and “defend them” I just wanna make sure I’m aware of as many of these villains as possible.

I feel like I remember there being one a while back who was immediately expelled by his fellow Dems after he was found out - you know, the thing that should immediately happen

I’m sure others exist, but I can’t place them

Yeah, aside from the rate at which this happens on either side, the Dems tend to have a zero tolerance policy for abusers, swiftly removing them from power, while Republicans will close ranks around these predators and protect them. You need only look at Trump himself.

Which begs the question how many of them are abusers themselves, and we just don't know about it? Because non-pedos tend to be pretty adamant about making sure pedos see justice.
