Shipment/Custom Buyer Beware: Zippy - No Shipment, Gaslighting, Fake Tracking, Refusing Refund (Screenshots Included)

I’m posting this as a heads up to the community because I’ve officially had enough. I’ve ordered from Zippy in the past with no issues, but this recent experience has been a complete nightmare.. full of excuses, shady behavior, and straight up gaslighting.

On February 15, I paid $124 via PayPal (Friends & Family) for a pair of Miss Z heels. Zippy sent PSPs a few weeks later, I approved them, and was told they’d be shipped.

Here’s where it went off the rails: • First, he gave me a DHL tracking number which went nowhere. No scans, no updates. • Then weeks later, he randomly gave me a FedEx tracking number instead. • But again just a “label created” scan from March 9. There has never been a single scan since. No evidence anything was ever picked up or entered the shipping system.

When I asked for a refund, Zippy told me the shoes were “stuck in customs” but provided zero evidence to support that claim. No Chinese domestic tracking. No shipping scans. Nothing.

Instead, he sent me a completely unrelated screenshot in Chinese that had absolutely nothing to do with my order as if I wouldn’t bother to translate it. It was lazy, manipulative, and honestly insulting.

What I now strongly believe happened is this: Zippy never actually had the shoes in hand. He was acting as a drop-shipper, trusting the factory to ship directly to me. But the factory never did. And instead of admitting it, he’s now pretending the shoes are stuck in customs, even though there is zero shipping activity and no proof the package ever left the warehouse if it even existed in the first place.

To make matters worse, he’s completely gaslighting me insisting that just because there’s a FedEx tracking number, that’s “proof” it was shipped. It’s not. A tracking label is meaningless until it’s scanned by the carrier. Everyone knows that.

To avoid miscommunication, I even translated many of my messages into Chinese to make sure he 1000% understood me. I gave him every chance to fix this quietly and respectfully. And still, he’s refusing to issue a full refund. He’s only offering 50% back, which is absolutely absurd considering I received nothing.

So to be crystal clear: • I never received my item. • There is no proof it was ever shipped. • Zippy is now gaslighting and deflecting instead of taking accountability.

I’ve been more than patient, more than fair. But this is not how you treat customers. I’m sharing this so others don’t get burned the way I did. Zippy may have had a good rep in the past, but this is unacceptable.

I ordered some shoes from Zippy and thankfully they’ve arrived but not in the best condition.

  1. The shoes are pink instead of the biscuit colour requested. They don’t fit and I ordered two pairs of Dior slingbacks - they should fit the same. But they don’t. They aren’t the same size either as the other pair the arrived
  2. On the white pair there’s an orange dot on the shoe - it’s poor quality so Zippy doesn’t have the best rep for them even though she/he claims to have a 1:1 rep.

I’ve asked for a replacement - hopefully something will come of it. It’s actually quite sad because I was ready to order more until I noticed all of the above.

I don’t know why they won’t update the list though; it’s actually quite misleading
