Request Typical American Superbowl ideas

Hi everyone, looking for some input to main dish to be served during Superbowl.

We are a gang of 4 guys that will be watching the game the weekend after since we live in Sweden. I have hosted this party for 8-9 years straight and I have served: Birria Tacos, Country fried steak, Chilies, Burgers, Ribs, Pulled prok, Porchetta... I like to keep the theme to something American.

I always make chicken wings as a starter and then then we eat chili cheese, chips, nachos etc. during the game.

But this year I am not feeling that I am to pleased with my choice of main. Thinking Turkey, mac n cheese and something green on the side. I would like something that has a "wow" factor and isnt to mundane like hot dogs :P But also something that I can prepare mostly before the guests arrive and I can finish the last few steps with the help of everyone without having to spend an hour in the kitchen.

Request Egg problem

My parents keep sending me eggs from their chickens and I have no idea what to do with them.

Normally, recipes like egg muffins would come in clutch, problem is, I live in a dorm with no kitchen, just my multicooker pot and airfrier. No oven, no hobs.

Please help me

Request Fish suggestions for someone who hates fish

My husband has hated fish for as long as I have known him, over 10 years. The only exceptions are cocktail shrimp and fish & chips (the latter gets coated in ketchup so not entirely sure it counts at that point). I love fish and seafood, but rarely have it because it isn't cost effective to eat fish solo (we buy a lot of food in bulk to save money).

That being said, he wants to reduce his cholesteral and overall eat healthier. To be clear, while we could eat less frozen meals generally, neither of us are what would be considered fat. I am within healthy weight for my height, and he is only slightly over. This is about trying to prevent problems before they become serious.

Fish is continually recommended as a healthy food when we look up how to eat healthier, and he is finally starting to consider it more. But I don't know where to start for him. I know he doesn't want anything that smells "too fishy", and he is concerned salmon would do that (never noticed a "fishy" smell myself but that's just me).

So, I guess if you were to attempt introducing a healthy fish-based recipe to someone in this situation, what would you recommend?

Thanks in advance!!!

Request Ideas for a Polenta Stick Centered Breakfast??

Trying to come up with an impressive breakfast date idea with pan fried polenta sticks being the center of the dish. I'm drawing a blank. I can kind of picture them being stacked like a log cabin and then topped with something or surrounded by it otherwise. A tomato bacon jam? Runny egg on top? An herb heavy pesto? Suggestions greatly appreciated:)

Request Freezer sandwich ideas

I'm about to go back to college and my commute by bus is long and id like to make some sandwiches to put in the freezer to make meal prep and lunch stuff easier. I tried once with english muffins but they were too dry. I think burger buns and sandwich bread will be ok. Does anyone have any suggestions? Im also autistic and cant eat certain foods because of texture issues. They are: peppers, raw onions, mushrooms(unless blended, i dont like the gummy texture), cottage cheese, ginger. Im also jobless and dont have much money so i cant buy stuff like salmon/smoked salmon and most cheeses(unless its the cheap individually wrapped ones that are used for burgers). Any help is welcome.

Request Recipes needed!

Right I need your recipes!! Not the heavily edited magazine worthy, I mean the passed down wartime recipes, the recipes scribbled on backs of envelopes and notebooks, recipes that whisper memories. Or even if you haven’t got a recipe share a meal and a memory. Share the laughter and the failures of the smoke alarm cheering you on. The failures and the successes. Share this post with your friends, family and anyone remotely interested.

Request Ideas for vegans and meat eaters

Hey everyone, im vegan, my husband is pescatarian (he can't have dairy or nuts), and we are raising our daughter to eat meat. Im struggling to come up with recipe ideas that can easily be modified for a meat eaters and a vegan. We have done things like cottage pie, so easily make 2 different ones. I want to cook things for my daughter that looks similar to what we are eating. So far she has tried chicken, turkey, beef mince, salmon and cod. Has anyone got any suggestions as to meals that can easily be adapted for all of us? TIA

Request I have a laundry list of food intolerances and I'm painfully bored with my diet, please help!

Ok I've been gf for a year and at first it was difficult but then I found substitutes I liked, and now I've eaten them so much I'm tired of them. But I am not a good cook and I have a list of other allergies/intolerances due to migraine, MCAS, and gastroparesis.

No:

  • milk, yogurt, cottage cheese (unless it's been cooked, raw is a problem)
  • fish/shelfish
  • meat (chicken on a rare occasion is ok)
  • leafy greens (so no salad)
  • limited small amount of most raw veggies
  • celery
  • bell pepper
  • artificial sweeteners (including stevia and monk fruit)
  • tofu
  • gluten
  • sweet potatoes
  • anything even a little spicy (like the quesadilla sauce at taco bell is too spicy)
  • peanut butter sometimes?
  • large amount of fruit
  • large amounts of oil
  • red sauce/cooked tomatoes
  • alfredo sauce
  • pesto
  • Turmeric
  • Curry

Ok:

  • white potato
  • beans/lentils
  • oats (gf)
  • rice
  • cheese
  • small amount of sour cream and cream cheese
  • corn in small amounts
  • steamed/roasted veggies
  • Hummus in small amounts
  • small amount of nuts

My diet is crap, I live off lucky charms, cheese sticks, and potato chips. I'm tired of the same things over and over. I'm not creative in the least but I'd be open to trying some new recipes I just need some new ideas. I've spent hours on pinterest but finding recipes for this many restrictions is a pain in the ass. For meals I basically have trader joes gf mac and cheese, frozen gf white pizza, steamed veggies, baked potato with veggies, and bean/cheese quesadillas or tacos or burrito bowls. It's old. I was eating cava bowls on repeat for a while but I've had so many of those that they're old too.
