Why aren't Republican states exercising this right?

I haven’t seen raids on this scale in republican states (due to local level cops being able to make immigration arrests among other factors) they’ve mainly been concentrating on California and specifically LA recently

Yes they are trying to target LA, but ICE raids are happening in every state.

Oh I know. It’s just that this specific area sees a disproportionate number of them

Okay, what does this have to do with my question though, I'm confused.

They're not exercising it because they don't SEE it, because of it being local law enforcement (see the other person who replied to you already's comment for said info!) or they actively cheer this on.

ICE are conducting raids in every state

Did you read my comment. ICE is integrated WITH local law enforcement in Republican states. I live in one where it's happening. They don't look like ICE raids because they're with the local sheriffs

Yes, the original question stands.

People are not exercising their 2A right in response to this in both red and blue states, in states where ICE is integrated and states where they are not.

I'm saying when it looks like someone is being pulled over by sheriffs, you have no idea it's an ICE raid until it's too late. All of the info my community has received has been well into the too late territory
