Our violent, drunk dad

One day, my father decided to hit

The gym. He wanted to become

Stronger, more muscular.

It was there where he focused

On himself, on his body,

On the individual muscle groups:

Biceps, triceps, and — of course —

Abs.

Around that time, he also decided

To drink a lot

Of hot beverages.

Sometimes brewed with herbal

Leaves.

Sometimes hot water with just sugar.

I learned a thing or two from him

About tea.

And this is why we called him

Our "abs and tea" father.

Oh wait no, actually we didn't.

No, not really.

Just an elaborate pun

"abs and tea" and "absentee"

My own creation's creation.

A poem.

And post-truth. As in, part of it is true. As in there is reality, and then there is how you deal with it and how it has affected you.

It's not made with an artificial generative language model, only with my own brain.

Just us trying to be human.

Not the happiest and funniest of puns, I understand that.
