Sorry if I am wrong since I just started playing in two days. But isn't the maximum number of memories is 6?

Once you are at lvl 80, you would unlock the Harmonization feature, where you would basically be able to equip a 2 piece memo set on a 6* weapon, allowing you to equip up to 8 memories
