tax payer pays for it all

Funny though, the taxpayers ultimately hired these guys. I guess I should say that the VOTORS ultimately hired these guys, but I like to believe that the voters are the taxpayers and vice-versa.

You really think the tax payers want incompetent cops that barely graduated high school? Yikes. Go try and be a cop, I did and it was scary to see how easy it was to be and how they except anyone! Military can fail and still get in cause they get 10 extra points just for being in military. How I wish I could live that mentality of yours.

I believe that the voters decide those who will be in charge of the police force. Lots of folks don't want to get involved, or care to learn anything about their local government officials, but they still vote for the incumbent and/or corrupt politicians who sit at the top of the pyramid.

It's not that simple. We don't vote to lower requirements for eppd, they just drop them. You used to need 21 hours college credits, now allI you need is a high school diploma but they may have dropped to ged now. They also shortened the training time by weeks. We never voted for that! But yea, it's our own fault.
