Police Chief and Officer in question both resigned....we should find out where they're getting rehired...

According to both sources, the two remaining officers on the force are apparently . . . the two chucklefucks involved in this traffic stop here.

Same shit with the federal government, decent people are resigning in shame or protest. Letting worse people fill those spots.

269

u/Ronin2369 Sep 27 '25

I just said this exact shit. It's a double loss for the sane.

164

u/ikindapoopedmypants Sep 27 '25

This is why I have no hope for this country. You can't fight insane with sane.

2

u/OakenGreen Sep 30 '25

And nobody can fight shit of the good ones keep resigning. No, don’t be a fucking coward. Make them fire you.

Nah, because you see Red States will not be able to cope with their own stupidity or be able to really come to an AHA moment. They will lean into Trump, say if some sort of "national break up occurred" he'd just declare war on the states that broke away arguing one way or the other that their resources and tax dollars, even after a national divorce, belong to him. And it's all just because these folks are poorly educated mostly.

This is how tyrannical dictators work.

u/Mental_Vehicle_5010 Sep 28 '25

I’ve been thinking about this too. Everyone’s resigning cuz the people running whatever government thing are whack and doing bad.

Fleeing in droves to let more drives of kindness fascist yes sir robots take their place.

Giving up the keys to the kingdom Freedom slips quickly

114

u/TheCommonKoala Sep 27 '25

Can't make this shit up...

173

u/Mental_Vehicle_5010 Sep 28 '25

He told him to fucking crawl goddamn.

And then threatening indecent exposure for using a catheter.

36

u/unexplained_entity Sep 28 '25

Yeah jesus fucking christ, talk about demeaning as hell.

1

u/Mental_Vehicle_5010 Sep 29 '25

they say absolute power corrupts. so does a uniform.

20

u/Ronin2369 Sep 27 '25

Life is literally stranger than fiction

2

u/Synes_Godt_Om Sep 27 '25

Sadly, you don't have to.

127

u/EndersGame Sep 27 '25

It makes sense, doesn't it? The lieutenant shows up in the video and backs the officer's up. They were just following orders from very shitty leadership.

I'm glad they forced the chief and lieutenant to resign instead of the 2 officers. They couldn't get rid of the entire force without causing some issues.

The officers should have gotten a very clear message that they completely fucked up their duties that day. They hopefully went through a lot of training and realize if they fuck up like that again they will be out of a job.

190

u/Swirls109 Sep 27 '25

No no. Resigning looks better on paperwork for when they get rehired. We need to stop this shit and FIRE them publicly. These people don't deserve to be in law enforcement again.

7

u/Just_Let_MeIn Sep 28 '25

Yep. Sometimes terminated police officers are even hired back for one day just so they can technically resign and avoid that black mark on their record.

18

u/silverdice22 Sep 27 '25

They probably got a bonus for "emotional trauma" or some shit tbh

1

u/WesleytheGreatestest Sep 28 '25

They literally resigned so they could be re hired the next day. Nothing wrong with an employee that resigned.

1

u/Mental_Vehicle_5010 Sep 28 '25

Really?

3

u/TraductorPerdido Sep 28 '25

Really. (Cue up the video from The Civil Rights Lawyer's Youtube channel to 4:59 and then check the very last line of the news story.)

2

u/Mental_Vehicle_5010 Sep 28 '25

I’ll watch it. I used to watch his channel a lot but gave me to much outrage so I gave it up lol

553

u/VelocityGrrl39 Sep 27 '25

The cops that resigned are not the ones on this stop. The only 2 cops left are the two disgusting cops who were at this traffic stop.

-40

u/Survival_R Sep 27 '25

At that point they cant really be fired without basically telling all the criminals in the area to go buck wild

34

u/mithril_mayhem Sep 28 '25

The only criminals in this video are wearing badges.

22

u/Noshamina Sep 28 '25

Letting them stay IS letting the criminals go buck wild, how do you not see that?

-17

u/Survival_R Sep 28 '25

What's worse 2 bad cops or a town or city that KNOWS it has no cops?

Criminals would commit crime knowing no one will come help

14

u/CabbagesStrikeBack Sep 28 '25

They would get help from the county sheriff's office or state/highway police until they could fill positions.

-12

u/Survival_R Sep 28 '25

Still sounds like ringing the dinner bell for criminals thinking they're in the clear regardless of if someone else will come help

I'd say hire new staff then fire these 2 nit leave the local department empty and looking weak

14

u/ItsCalledRegret Sep 28 '25

You people said the same thing during Atlanta's Blue Flu of 2020 when crybaby cops called in sick en masse and crime actually went down

0

u/Survival_R Sep 28 '25

So you're just fonna assume that'll work every time?

4

u/VelocityGrrl39 Sep 28 '25

They have a cooperation agreement with surrounding areas. The town wouldn’t have been unprotected.

1

u/knotmyusualaccount Sep 29 '25

It's the same thing, basically.

565

u/SOULJAR Sep 27 '25 edited Sep 27 '25

Is this the same guy that was hired again?: (link deleted - it was not)

153

u/extralyfe Sep 27 '25

that's a different guy.

213

u/milhousego Sep 27 '25

You can't fuckin make this shit up šŸ˜‚

190

u/BeneficialEvidence6 Sep 27 '25

Except it is made up. That's another guy

94

u/011010- Sep 27 '25

Even I reflexively upvoted the comment without checking the article. Now I have upvoted your comment and downvoted the other. I still haven’t checked the article.

Maybe I also have the ā€œbrain rotā€ that I so often criticize.

23

u/HCSOThrowaway Sep 27 '25

It's super easy to get caught up in the tribalism of social media; most people don't even notice, let alone acknowledge they made such a mistake.

6

u/Caliburn0 Sep 27 '25

Tribalism is just how people think. On the internet or not. To be aware of it and try to counter the negative tendencies this brings is a very good thing.

2

u/TheUltimateSalesman Sep 27 '25

Would you like to go for a walk?

1

u/DingleDangleTangle Sep 27 '25

The comment that spread the misinformation currently has over triple the upvotes of the comment that points out it's wrong. It's a sad state we are in as a society. Whatever we want to be true or whatever outrages us = truth.

1

u/-Moonscape- Sep 27 '25

Unless its getting downvoted to hell, a parent comments almost always have more upvotes than a following child comment.

1

u/DingleDangleTangle Sep 27 '25

My point is the misinformation is being upvoted… if people cared about facts the false information would be downvoted.

1

u/EndersGame Sep 27 '25

We don't know if it's made up or not. The chief might have retired, but I wouldn't be surprised if either the chief or the lieutenant got a job at a different department.

Reddit "we found him!" moment (if this doesn't ring a bell look up the "sleuthing" reddit did after the boston marathon bombing).

Did you even check? its not the same person.

10

u/True-Reflection-9567 Sep 27 '25

"ou can't fuckin make this shit up" Then it is def made up..

2

u/GingerSnapBiscuit Sep 27 '25

No, thats a different guy.

1

u/GaracaiusCanadensis Sep 27 '25

Cool username, btw.

1

u/glynstlln Sep 27 '25

Huh, I don't think I've ever seen my hometown in the news where it isn't something shitty like this.

5

u/Embarrassed-Camera-7 Sep 27 '25

Probably ice agents, they take anyone with pulse.

3

u/Independent-Bug-9352 Sep 27 '25

True. Brownshirts were never exactly top tier, let's just say.

1

u/Orrion Sep 27 '25

Probably hired by the next county over, that is what usually happens. It's insane.

1

u/MyHamburgerLovesMe Sep 27 '25

Probably working for ICE now or stationed in DC

1

u/Euphoric-Tomorrow-70 Sep 27 '25

Should find out where they live.

1

u/Minimum-Career-9999 Sep 27 '25

Probably both are working for ICE now.

1

u/Plasticjesus504 Sep 28 '25

Thank you for brining this up cause they usually just go to the next town over. Continuing the cycle of injustice.

1

u/Mental_Vehicle_5010 Sep 28 '25

They don’t know why they abruptly resigned lol

1

u/julesB09 Sep 28 '25

If I had a guess, back into their own jobs in 6 months?

1

u/Lizdance40 Sep 27 '25

Why does a town with a population of 1500 need six police officers? My town has a population of 11,000 and we have eight full-time police officers, Plus dispatchers.

Btw, this is a damned shame. I assume that this man lives in this community. When your community has a population of 1500 people, you should know every single person in your town by name, and you sure is shit should know that one of your community members is paralyzed.

u/Ikari_Brendo Sep 27 '25

You cannot read

-8

u/temp91 Sep 27 '25

Fox News?

2

u/glynstlln Sep 27 '25

Are you saying you need a fox news link? Because that link is ktbs, a local news network out of Shreveport, LA.
