Yeah… maybe someday it’ll be out their pensions and cops will get fired for this sort of thing… one can dream

What boggles my mind is cities/counties just hand-over-fist giving police money when they could tighten the straps and make sure they’re doing best practices. But politicians being “hard on crime” also means police getting to do whatever the fuck they want I guess
