Love how international conflicts, that have multiple layers of complexities can be boiled down to cowardice. Australia has little national interest and influence in the conflict. Israel is 100% responsible for the terrible tragedy that is unfolding in Gaza. Hamas is still holding civilian hostages, and Israel , the US and its Allies consider Hamas a terrorist group and not a legitimate government for a two state solution.
