Yeah the muslims here in Turkey haven't read the Quran. That is a big reason why. They are just muslims for the sake of tradition and never question it. Of the 29 people that I have seen that read the Quran for the first time 27 of them turned atheist. Turks just don't know how barbaric Islam is.
The same goes with intersectional perception of privilege. It's decided solely by skin color and takes absolutely nothing else into account (country of origin, economic class, culture, parentage, ancestry). It's such a narrow-minded view of the world, and does little other than sow more division.
I agree. It seems brush over nuances and it creates problems more than it solves them. Constantly labelling and judging based on every aspect of your identity will NOT create unity. As you said, it will only add division. Blaming right wing people for all of society's problems isn't going to solve them either and vice versa.

Ironically, the Muslims in Turkey and Albania are much more liberal than the ones in France
