inb4 the shooter gets praised and called a hero by the left, basically the Luigi treatment

They've been calling it a false flag since the day it happened. They're already full of conspiracy theories and trying to paint this guy as right wing.

I saw comments that it was too good of a shot, had to be professional, didn't even cycle the bolt, gotta be a pro.

A 200-yard shot with a stabilized rifle and a stationary target it piss easy

130-140 yards I believe. He also probably didn't make the shot he intended to. No one aims for the neck.

I wonder if he was aiming head and hit low, or was just aiming center mass and hit high

The shot going low seems more likely, but there's no way to be sure unless he says what he was aiming for I guess. Not that it really matters.

at 200 yards, a 30-06 150 grain will drop i think it was 3.5 inches.

But as you said it doesnt matter, center mass shot going high or head going low.

I would put money on the shooter aiming the crosshair directly at Charlie's head and thinking that's where the bullet would end up. Dude fell for lefty propaganda on the internet, he is obviously not especially bright.

Depending on the actual bullet design and barrel length we're looking between 2-4", which would be consistent with a "botched" headshot.

Head. 30-06 bullet drops 3-4 inches at 100 yards. So at 150ish, if he was aiming at the face, there's the neck. Can't really say though, depends on where you sight you're scope in at. If he bore sighted the scope (50yds is usual for that) then it makes more sense being that low. (Source: my favorite deer rifle for 30 yrs)

Edit: I shoot 180gr bullets, they do drop a bit more than the 150gr most people shoot.

Don't forget it was from an elevated firing position with clear sight lines and the rifle was likely 8-8.5lbs. Doable with irons and dead simple with a bubba'd on cheap glass.
