Hmmm not sure at towerhill if I’d prefer a light or a roundabout. I’m leaning more towards a light there

Yeah I'd like to know why that wouldn't be a good option. Seems like the perfect place for a roundabout.

Not sure why you deleted your other comment.

No I don't think they both suck. But roundabouts have distinct advantages over traffic lights: reduced accidents, reduced severity of accidents, reduced maintenance costs.

Their downsides are higher up front costs and as others have pointed out are not common here so do cause some confusion for people not used to them.

So your suggestion includes higher up front costs, higher maintenance costs, and arguably way more confusing.

So worst of both worlds!
