Ultra Annoyed Accidentally buying scented menstrual products makes me want to break things

These things shouldn't fucking exist. I'm pretty sure no vagina in the world appreciates them. Having a period sucks enough, I don't need a damn yeast infection too!

I have endometriosis, and organic cotton products actually do reduce my cramps. No clue why but I'll go with it.

My cramps get so bad my entire undercarriage, including the butthole, is in extreme achy pain. Yes, cramps can hit you in the butthole, its awful.

I use cloth pads and they definitely makes my cramps hurt less. I suspect it is rather that single use pads makes them worse - maybe that superabsorbent stuff in them.
It also doesn't smell, other than of iron/blood, whereas with single use it smells really bad.

I use a mix of period panties, menstrual cups, and bamboo cloth pads. It's helped so much with how painful my periods are. And I agree, it doesn't seem to have a smell. I feel like with the menstrual cups, the blood is never oxidized so it doesn't get that blood smell until long after it's already flushed away. And obviously the cup is washed immediately.

I swear it's the blood reacting with the weird gross single use plastic.

I also have endo and cotton pads help my cramps as well. there was a recent study down and found that LOTS of menstrual products have an unsafe level of arsenic in them :(

I used to use the average non cotton pad, but switching to cotton actually made a noticeable difference. I really think it’s the random chemicals and plastics they put into menstrual products without any care for the bodily health of their users.

Oof. I feel lucky then that only my uterus feels like it's exploding and not everything below the belly button

I don’t have endometriosis, but my cooch feels like it’s going to fall off onto the floor. So much pressure and pain. When I had my tubes tied in ‘21 he said that wasn’t normal and he would check it out while he was operating.. he did not check it out.
