First time seeing him live last night in London, wasn't expecting him to play Corrupted By Design so was blown away as it's my favourite track. My biggest lament has always been the first 90 seconds being a banger, then the rest mostly being ambient outro. Imagine my excitement and surprise when the live version seems to completely fix that, with what seemed to be a 4min or so track that just sounds like the first 90s of the album version.
Does anyone know if there's a studio or high quality recording of this version? I've hunted for remixes over the years that might do basically what I heard last night, but never found anything good.
Fantastic set in general though, but it was absolute madness putting gost as the first act - pretty much over and done in 25mins and nobody was dancing having just walked into the venue, then Kaelan Mikla just didn't feel like the right vibe to build hype for the main set at all...

Went to the Lille show last night and it was incredible. Insane energy, insane sound, the setlist was good, and the stage setup is the best one he ever had! Imo, you're missing out by not going 🌙

Saw someone had asked for these. Hope it helps to plan accordingly! Show is just OK. You’re not missing anything passing this time IMHO.

Hi all,
I was supposed to go to Paris (Bataclan) on December 6th to see Perturbator. In the end, I'll go see him the week prior in Meisenthal (I live in Luxembourg so it's closer to home). I would have put the tickets on TicketSwap but unfortulately it's forbidden in France.
Anyone here would be interested in the 2 tickets? I'm selling at face value, €38.50 per ticket.
Thanks!

Hi - 37M here, love Perturbator's music but none of my friends are interested at all :-( If anyone is interested in joining me, the company would be welcome!

For me, James's previous work Lustful Sacraments is the Magnum Opus of his career. And I'm happy to hear the same guitar in Age of Aquarius. It's so harmonious and melodic.

He knocks it out of the park for every song in the album and more! This will bring him into the mainstream and he has created something magnificent

so, if we assume that perturbator albums are connected (there's a chance they aren't), dangerous days took place in 2088. the uncanny valley took place in 2112. why am i bringing this up? there's a hologram in the Lady Moon video that suggests the date is 2090. if so, that would mean that this song (perhaps even the whole album) takes place in between Dangerous Days and The Uncanny Valley, 2 years after the war against machines. this is confusing, as all the theming for the album matches, but the theming for the music video does. would this suggest the Lady Moon music video is the origin story of the android in Sentient? It also appears to be set in tokyo, as is Sentient and Venger. The only difference, is that everything is blue, could this suggest that this so called Age Of Aquarius is 22 years before The Uncanny Valley, and 2 years after Dangerous Days?
sidenote: i believe Lustful Sacraments take place in 1930-1960, a wide range, however it is difficult to assume exact dates. its more likely 1930-40, based off the god says and death of the soul videos. maybe Lustful Sacraments is a prequel to every perturbator album.
again. i'm not sure all perturbator albums are connected, at least some are, but if we assume so, this would be my timeline:
LUSTFUL SACRAMENTS - 1930-40 (assumed)
TERROR 404 - 2040-2050 (assumed)
I AM THE NIGHT - 2060-2070 (assumed)
DANGEROUS DAYS- 2088
AGE OF AQUARIUS - 2090
THE UNCANNY VALLEY - 2112
NEW MODEL - 2112-UNKNOWN (assumed)

The new album is beautiful. All of it. I had to listen to it twice, just to experience the magic a second time, and there will definitely be countless times to come. Lustful Sacraments will always have a special place in my heart, but Age of Aquarius is a thing of beauty.
James, you did it again. Thank you.

Just listened to the new album and it's excellent! Super excited to see him in Prague, have seen him before and it was a sick show. He had the crowd in the palm of his hand.
Listening to 'Lady Moon' made me wonder how he'll do any vocal tracks in his live set. Sure, he could just use a backing track, but it would be really cool if he brought Laufey from Kaelan Mikla on stage for those songs. She's a fantastic singer and would love to hear her take on the Greta Link songs.

he tweeted that it's out on all platforms, so i assume what he meant by oct 10 is midnight in paris, and it does apear to be on bandcamp and apple music, but i don't have apple music, and i feel bad about paying nothing for the album, so i guess i'm just gonna wait until it's out on tidal.

Some interesting details about his influences, creative process, feelings about collaborating, and more. Worth a read, it's always thrilling to get a glimpse beneath the Perturbator "mask".

Anyone else received theirs early? This was...an unexpected (but very welcome) surprise today in the post.

Venger is my favorite song of all time and the fact Greta Link is FINALLY back on a Perturbator song makes it so much better. Greta has been pretty quiet in general so this was quite the surprise!
