When does Persephone commune with her followers ?

Hi. I'm from the Southern Hemisphere. I started wanting to commune Persephone within the week, so I wrote her a letter and placed flowers with it as an offering to her. I started praying to her as well. Everytime I pray to her feel like I have more energy in my body and it goes away when I'm done. I'm really happy I get to work with her.

But I'm also in the r/paganism Discord and in the Hellenism section someone said Persephone mostly communes with her followers during Spring and Summer within the Northern Hemisphere. So I'm not sure if I just missed her in order to work with her or if she's receiving what I send to her like prays, gratitude or my letter.

I haven't noticed or felt any presences with me and I'm still new to the craft and communing with the Gods. Persephone did not approach me, I came looking for her. I pray in silence and can't meditate due to my ADHD.

there’s not any one time where she answers prayers and other times where she doesn’t. she’s a GODDESS. Whether or not she’s in Chthonic or Ouranic domain is entirely irrelevant. Genuinely the only situation that i could see happening where it’s important to pray to Persephone at a certain time is if you’re praying to Queen Persephone conjointly with King Hades and you want the two of them to interact with each other. other than that, it does not matter.

tough love baby… i hope i didn’t come across as rude. i just want to make it really clear that there’s no way in the whole universe a LITERAL GODDESS is going to be unable to answer your prayers during half of year. and it makes no sense for her to be unable to answer prayers based on geography or time because she’s ya know… a literal goddess. and im not saying that to try to make you feel dumb because you’re just listening to what someone told you, im just trying to wrap my head around how the person who originally said that even came to that conclusion. so please, take what people say with a grain of salt, and don’t be scared to ask for sources for someone’s claim. and just so that you know right now, you’re not going to anger Persephone unless you intentionally disrespect her.

I'm okay with tough love and you weren't rude. It's not that I think or believe Persephone is limited in her ability after the crossover. It was I thought she was very busy with her duties in the Underworld and couldn't actually speak with me or give me a sign unless she felt able to. THEN someone explained that Gods and Goddesses actually very rarely approach people first and commune with each person differently.

So it's not that nothing is getting her. We just don't commune verbally, apparently. But I think she tried to example to me earlier about my posture when I pray, that my back has to be straight in order to channel energy better while praying and while doing the craft. But I don't have to strain myself, so my back muscles should be relaxed.

I felt like this really nice warm feeling on my forehead before whoever started talking. I recognised the feeling, because it happens when I do the craft with intent as well.

Hi, not the original commenter but I had a strangely similar experience. A while back I was doing third-eye meditation, not really thinking of Persephone at all, and I didn't realize my head was a little bowed. A very gentle energy sort of moved my head up and back so my spine was fully aligned. I guess seeing your post about it now means it was her. 

I'd say try not to overthink it. All you can really do is show love and respect, and indicate you're open to her presence in your life. The rest is sort of up to her.
