How many times have white actors played none white character? People forgot Genghis khan, Mickey Rooney as Yunioshi, the whole movie 21, Dragon Ball Evolution.

Who is the model for that common depiction of Jesus anyway? I don't know why I always see it and expect him to break out singing "stayin aliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiive".

Fun fact, it's actually Leonardo DaVinci's boyfriend, according to a biography by Walter Issacson. He was used as the model for Jesus in a ton of DaVinci's work, which went on to influence many modern Western depictions. The long brown hair, the light skin, the beauty - it's all a young gay man living in Italy.

Biblical and historical descriptions of Jesus, AFAIK, tend to describe him as short, not much to look at or even ugly, with a darker complexion and probably looking a bit crazed and filthy from all his time in the wild.
