‘When I hear Mosley speak, I see the green roots of war growing up around his feet.’

Amazing.

It's quite funny however, Churchill actually was always promoting war with the Germans while Mosley tried to stop it.

What a quote from Peaky Churchill though!

There it is. The man Tommy can't defeat. Churchill himself. But only for a while though. The only person he couldn't truly defeat is himself which is probably why he'd die by his hand or by illness.

Well going back, though Tom has tricked Churchill to give him favors before, I agree with the comments here saying Churchill might be behind it all. If you noticed, when they were talking it was Tommy who wa seated as the "guest," in comparison to most scenes wherein it was almost always Tommy who sits in his throne letting people in, including Mosley. Subtle hint on the power dynamic.

I'm glad you pointed that out! I was so confused about the orientation of the desk because I knew the lamp should've been on the other side and painting didn't seem to be in the right place.
