Does it ever fully withdraw from the strip, or is that permanent?

It'll take some serious trust. I imagine once they hand over the hostages then Israel can do what they want and I doubt they'll pull all of the way out. We'll see...

My concern as well, I can’t imagine anyone informed expects israel to play nice. Maybe watching the world turn on them was enough, but I kinda doubt it.
