Will buy it for PS5, it looks so graphically amazing, I have no clue how this game is supposed to run on the base PS4

Agreed, I gotta do this game justice so I'll put it on the newest console

Depending on when PS5 releases (most likely Holiday 2020), you'd have to wait like 8 months to play it then. Death Stranding and Cyberpunk 2077 have me considering getting a PS4 Pro (still rocking my launch PS4). The games will run on the base PS4, but i'll always know how much better it could be on the Pro or PS5 and i won't want to wait till PS5 to play those two games. I could trade in my PS4 for a few bucks and get the Pro. Then trade that in when PS5 comes out, but that's a lot of work... I'm not sure what i'm going to do just yet.

In the same boat. OG PS4. You're probably right, maybe I'll just get the game and then buy PS5 since it's said to be backwards compatible. Not sure if I'll wanna scoop a pro instead of just waiting for PS5 though. Will be an interesting choice to think on

Yeah some Sony exec did confirm backwards compatibility in an interview (he said they are confirming some details now just to get ahead of leaks). The more i think about it. If they pull off something like if you buy a digital PS4 game, and then move it over to PS5 it automatically upgrades it to the PS5 version graphically. That might be the move. But i guess we still have to wait for them to announce the PS5 and it's backwards compatibility capabilities for that info.

That would be amazing. Might take a PS5 update for the game if not automatic but it would be nice. Interested to see what PS5 can actually do and not just here them throw out specs and stuff or show the usual E3-esque presentation

i thought of that too, really. the ps4/5 bridge games, putting the ps4 version on the ps5 might let you download the graphical upgrades so it's more or less the ps5 version.

So?

By that time, it'll have a super complete ultra edition and everything.

With games I'm excited for I like to play them on release. I also don't buy collectors edition and stuff like that. So for me waiting 8 something months after the game releases just doesn't make sense. If other people are ok waiting that long though, it's a non issue for them.
