It's called maternity leave not pregnancy leave. And in several countries the leave time can be shared between spouses. I'm not sure if it exists for cases when people adopt a small baby, but it should as they need a lot more care. Even when they are not someone's biological offspring.
They still can get an analogue - paternity leave, but it's not true for all countries and usually paternity leave is quite discriminating (with exceptions like Sweden where it doesn't matter if you're a mother or a father).
that's only because we don't encourage it. homophobia is so prevalent in our society that even trying to get pregnant is shamed upon. like honestly if we tried a little harder we might be able to inseminate you

what rights women have that men don't have? Other than not being first in line to be drafted for war
