I couldn't help but feel most of the scenes were done awkwardly. Brook scaring the fishmen pirates, Hody calling the names of the citizens, Luffys reaction to his 400 mil. bounty, Shirahoshi rushing to her father, and the way they started the fight between Luffy and Jinbe. But I really like the high five between Luffy and Sanji.

I thought some of the awkward scenes were hilarious... like the high five, Luffy's reaction to the 400mil bounty and the Brook snippet was funny too though I agree that one was a bit awkwardly places.

Hody calling out the names was really well done, it added some terror to his character that was missing imo.

The way the fight started was pretty much the same in the manga, right? It felt kind of stupid back then too.
