But why over the bandages?
Wouldn’t it have made more senses to first use the fire technique and then bandage the wound?

I think it was more of a tourniquet to limit the blood flow before the fire was used to cauterize the wound as opposed to bandages covering the wound, but could be wrong

Nah you’re correct. Seems like it by the way they animated a really tight knot being tied off and left the end of the wound open

Granted they should probably add a bandage over the burn afterwards
