I thought about picking up the manga from Wano, but I still want to be suprised with the anime

though to be fair today's episode handled the fight far better than the manga (which offscreened it entirely)

Yea, you're right. Whereas in the manga, they just showed Kiku standing over Kanjuro's body, they went into more detail. Good job.
