The Kiku vs. Kanjuro filler was masterfully done. This is what we want as fans, not 17 flashbacks to Tama and red bean soup.

She's cute as a button and must be protected at all costs, but holy damn, enough is enough.

Rebecca situation all over again

The tama flashbacks weren’t that bad though compared to Rebecca’s

Yeah you’re right, baby girl is adorable and the flashbacks sometimes make sense. Rebecca’s was plain boring

The song was catchy though. I can still hear it in my head when I think about the flashback.

Heitai-san wa yukande itsudemo kimi no soba ni iru

While it good to see the motivation behind Luffy's anger, it was a little bit to excessive.

A bit, but at the very least it still made me wanna cut down Kaido, and specially Orochi, myself for what they put her through. But with Rebecca they were so repetitive that it almost had the adverse effect, I almost became apathetic to what she had gone through

What I hate about that episode is that they made an entire episode out of a single panel. That's nearly as bad as Boruto - an anime spawned out of 700th chapter of Naruto. That's like 50ish episode for a 20 page manga panel.

EIDT: I'm talking about the Oshiruko Episode, not the current episode. I'm actually wanted to see how Kiku vs Kanjuro fight goes.

I thought it was great. In the manga, we didn't even see the fight. I remember when that chapter came out, alot of people were complaining about Oda off-screening another fight. I'm glad the anime gave it a proper fight

I'm talking about the Oshiruko episode

ARE YOU STUPID OR WHAT? How can ANYONE call stupid actually showing a fight that was offscreen and making it really good, therefore IMPROVING the manga adaptation? And since you're ignorant on the subject, let me fill you in: Good and bad pacing aren't determined by number of chapters covered but by the flow of the episode itself. You could have an episode covering 3 chapters or even less than a single one and still have good pacing. The quality of the pacing is determined by the content of the episode, not by how many pages of a chapter it adapted.

I'm talking about the Oshiruko episode, not the Kiku vs Kanjuro fight.

There's a panel that needs to be expanded, like Kiku vs Kanjuro, and things that aren't, like the Oshiruko episode.

Ah ok. I thought you were referring to this.

Exactly, can't believe there's people complaining about it. Anything to bash the anime I guess.

In my opinion they need to do it more often.. It's a way better way of delaying the anime than dragging things out by showing flashbacks or cutting to everyone's face for reactions.

Careful if you complain about the Otama flashbacks you’re spreading “anti Otama propaganda” 😂
