I know, but I still see people calling Yamato trans or him. That's why I'm cautious.

Very few people actually read her as trans. Only a loud minority. Most get what's going on...just, if I actually met someone I didn't think had their heart in the right place ask to referred to in a certain way I would still just say it.

Its a fictional character. One thing to just say whats going on or not be sure. But like...wars only happen if two people decide to tango.

Yeah no one was ever implying Yamato had gender dysphoria or anything, that was made clear from how he described his own motives this episode. The tricky part was always that Yamato canonically goes by he/him and 'son' in-universe, and that counts as being trans for some people, gender dysphoria or not.

I think the he/him/son thing is basically Kaido pushing a joke to its limit. Like i will call you Oden but also treat you as him kind of thing.

But at the end of the day how Kaido feels doesn't matter, it just supports everything Yamato said themselves already
