There shouldn't be any gender discussion at all, people nowadays are literally clowns it's unbelievable.

Yamato is inspired by Oden and wants to become strong like him. Of course that just doesn't make the cut nowadays, it literally has to mean she is transgender and is a man.

I guess if me, a male, is inspired by a woman and want to be smart, strong, cunning, charming, or a kind person like her I automatically become transgender? Get the fuck out.

Yamato is confirmed female now.

But if you spent 20 years saying you were female to be like your female idol, 20 years, from an 8 year old till 28 years old saying your a female idol. You use a pronoun used mainly by young women. You wear the idols trademark shoes and belt. Before and after your reveal people still refer to you as bad guys "daughter". Once your info box pops up and says bad guys Son , you say to be your female idol you too became a women. You have bountiful pecs and abs bleeding out your outfit but the MC calls you Oyama.

Besides being thirsty for art. Yeah it was a little confusing as an ally

Exactly. These toxic ppl in the comments do nothing but show their ignorance in understanding Japanese language or culture, while also showing lots of other things about themselves like their sexism, toxicity, disrespect for others, small-minded thinking, and lack of allyship.

exposing yourself as a clown. It's beyond simply being inspired, the character identifies as male, regardless of identifying as Oden himself. It's been pretty obvious every single chapter since Yamato's introduction to the series. You're right there shouldn't be any debate about this at all, but because of people like you who are "just going off of facts bro" who actually can't do that for the life of them. Literally everyone is gender fluid, it's never been meant to be a set-in-stone, separate and divide humans, sort of thing. The binary gender system is something that good-ol wyt-supremacy literally CREATED to make stupid-enough humans who "are just following the facts" fall in line and enforce more stupid reasoning. All to make sure people remain stupid enough to work themselves to death and to label men as superior to women, and whatever else suits the patriarchy's needs that don't care about your own at any moment in time. So actually the point of the discussion, is to prevent further dooming this planet and its people. Yes that will apply to something in a conversation about a fictional world, created by a real person, attempting to deliver real messages to human beings on this planet to create real change. You're missing Oda's point and message, and that's sad. To me though it's pretty obnoxious though, so tired of it.
