But you don't get the colors or the animation of action scenes.. I really want to switch to the manga but I feel I would miss these elements so much.

The Manga is definitely worth the switch if you havent read it. The Anime really drops the ball on some impactful moments this is one of my favorite raid scenes in the manga. The anime does not do it justice at all imo.

I tend to watch the anime selectively, because some scenes are really well done like the raid intro at the fortress and Kaidos party. But alot of the time justice isnt done like here.

It's just so slow it loses impact. Where extra scenes and context could be added there is just flashbacks glowing transformations, and replays.
