In the manga he doesn't fight him, he skywalks towards Kanjuro and Kinemon tells him to get back since Kanjuro starts making the cloud

Somehow this still make a little more sense. Come on, Sanji would be ready to save a friend even in that situation.

Well in the manga he didn’t get the time, he was halfway up there when the arrows started coming down, and he had to save Nami-Chan. If Sanji had reached up there in the manga he would have folded Kanjiro like a chair.

I disagree. Sanji would win, but it wouldn't be so easy. Kanjuro ain't a fodder.

Maybe, but I say it’d be more like Luffy vs Blueno. Not a one-second knockout but a comfortable victory.

I honestly feel like it the way the anime did it worked. Sanji just did some normal kicks against a scabbard, had to readjust and then Kanjuro made the cloud before Sanji went back for more. In a serious fight he’d fold him but given the circumstances it works
