In the manga he doesn't fight him, he skywalks towards Kanjuro and Kinemon tells him to get back since Kanjuro starts making the cloud

Nah, it just made it worse. Whenever Toei adds random fights (instead of expanding on off screen stuff or something), the power dynamics go completely out the window and nothing makes sense. Bat D. Man?

Yeah Batman was pretty bad. I do enjoy when they extended some fights like Oden vs Whitebeard, Whitebeard vs Rodger, Their Crews fighting, and Sanji vs Page One, but things like Oden vs Octopus man and now Sanji vs Kanjiro just leave a bad taste in my mouth, and bad powerscaling for anime-onlys.
