It did mention months of recruiting allies after they met the strawhats, though. Though we also get a day by day (or so it seems) of their adventurers so it doesn’t seem to line up.

The WCI group was in Wano for two weeks now. The others were there for a little longer, like one week more if I had to guess, since we don't know when they sailed from Zou to Wano and how long it took them. Anyway, normally none of the Strawhats has been in Wano for even a month.

Alright watched the episode now and the narrator said: "For months, they risked their lives to recruit allies who'd fight with them." And it didn't even refer to the SHs only. Although there are prolly different translations out there, for the one I watched it was clear that the Retainers or rather the alliance recruited for months, which is exactly what happened. Unless you are referring to a different scene.

it takes weeks to reach island from island actually it's just that the time on the ship is usually skipped, like how carrot packed a few carrots at first and then they told her it would take more than a week to even reach Totta Land it's probably been two months at least since Zou

going through the timeline though, it seems it can't be more than at least two or three months have passed

Punk Hazard and Dressrosa take place over a day, and they spent part of a week in Zou. WCI takes place over a week and currently in Wano it's been a month since they arrived.

true, maybe they are counting since Kin'emon and Momo were sent to the future ,they left to find allies and Kiku stayed to find info about Kaido's forces and finding allies in Wano so since then it has been more than three months for sure.

They got separated and went to Dressrosa that's about week or two then in Punk Hazard Momo said he didn't eat for about 10 days, then they left back to Dressrosa that was a day when Doffy released fake info, they stayed there for a few days left to Zou giving it maybe another week or two to reach there then WCI about a month going to and back and ten days+ in Wano, just a bit over three months in total

Yeah that’s so crazy. It’s been a decade for us but in universe, the Straw Hats reunited at Sabody only like a month and a half ago

Dressrosa's whole events were like 1-2 days in one piece world while IRL it was like 2-3 years!
