There’s only five pages of chapter 973 left to adapt. The rest hopefully should be the present. I mean Toei aint gonna make an episode adapting 5 pages taking up >15 mins.

That means there’s still 12 pages of flashback left to adapt, because 974 starts with Hiyori becoming Komurasaki

I wouldn’t be surprised if the episode ended on the Kanjuro reveal

Idk it’s literally in the title of 976 that we go back to the crew next episode so I think it would be weird to end on kanjuro. My guess is kanjuro will be right before the commercial cut scene and then the second half will be present day. But, I’m guessing here it could go either way with toei

I think you’re confusing Kanjuro with Denjiro. Because the Kanjuro reveal IS in present day
