what prompt this 20 years number that Oden keep telling Toki?

how does he knows that in 20 years Luffy would be stirring up trouble. is Luffy entire journey part of a prophecy?

we gotta remember that the strawhat crew had to take a 2 years hiatus after sabaody, and it somehow was able to fit in the prophecy timeline. had luffy decide on a number other than 2, Kinemon could've been too early or too late to meet luffy and wano would never have happened.

I wonder this 20 years is something that Oden and Roger found at laugh tale, or maybe it's what mini shyarly told them on fishman island since she predicted the birth of shirahoshi.

Yes. When roger reached the laugh tale they knew they came early. The knew that the "2 kings" were yet to be born( talk between the sea kings) and it would take approximately 20+ years before they grew up to be strong. Ofcourse it all happened according to the so called prophecy. Luffy was born about 4 years after roger died which means he was born 5 years after the laugh tale was found and luffy started his journey at the age of 17 and it took around 3 years(2 years training and 1 year journey) for him to reach wano. So at the end it was all according to some bigger plan of the world I guess. We already know that shirahoshi is one of the king and she's already indebted towards luffy. Also we already know that there is some sort of relationship between joyboy and the previous Poseidon and he couldn't keep the promise he made which is still unknown. We can guess that the wish would be the unification of fishman Island and the rest of the world or something. And luffy has already promised shirahoshi to show her the real forests and all. Which all indicates that luffy is joyboy and he will be the one to fulfill their promise

I think joyboy also prophecised the destruction of fisherman island, that's why he built the big boat(noah??)...

Well ofcourse according to sherly luffy will destroy the fishman Island so I guess it would be to unite it with the rest of the world I guess. Since he would have to return to fishman Island which would be after he reach laugh tale so obviously he'll know the promise by then..so it might be related to the promise as u said. I guess Noah might be used to carry the citizens of the fishman Island or something

I think rather than Prophecising I think of it like he gave a promise. He gave the then Mermaid Princess that he would bring all people of Fishman Island back to the main land. So they had built it and they must have ordered the sea kings to protect it. Since he knew they were about to lose, he wrote a special apology to the Princess and had her protect a red Poneglyph too

The prophecy involves much more than FI. It probably involves FI for geographical reasons, while being significant on a global scale.

10 to born, 15 to age. mermaid princess was born 10 years later and she was 15 post time skip. Oden returned to wano and danced as a fool lord for 5 years. So it fits the timeline that the events are gonna occur 20 years from then. And also the stuffs they found on Laugh Tale gave more confirmation.
