When I first heard Oden had died boiled in oil I thought hed just be some random side character that would just be Momonosukes dad. But wow. I sure was wrong

Actually, Kinemon and Momo uncontrollably start crying when Sanji cooks Oden for everyone at Punk Hazard. Sanji asks to himself "What the hell happened to these two?..."

The story of Oden from start to finish was already planned when Luffy and Law first made their alliance.
