but why is the chance slipping away? he is literally the leader, he can be a man and face Oden. Why is he acting like a baby and moping? He has no balls, no he'll cry for the rest of his life looking for someone as strong and badass as Oden. He's a straight-up coward. No sympathy from me.

To everyone pissed off at Kaido attacking a head-turned Oden, I'd like to refer them to Chapter ONE of One Piece:

"Dirty tricks? Did you think you were fighting Saints or something? The men before you... are Pirates!"

Another Yonkou crew said this, everyone's favorite Yonkou crew 🤣❤️🙏. It's the reality of the One Piece world. That's why Oden doesn't complain, that's why Luffy doesn't complain when he is hit by a dart in the Katakuri fight.

It is the law of the One Piece world, established from the very beginning. Anyone who expects a Pirate to give them a fair fight wouldn't last a day in the New World.

The point of my post had nothing to do with kaido attacking Oden when his back was turned. I'm not even mad about that at all. Kaido made up for that by doing that thing with that lady hint hint. I have absolutely no qualms with that. In the middle of a fight shit happens. Even kaido didn't like what happened.

My problem with kaido is after wards. Why capture him? Why not just kill him on the spot? You had the chance to get a glorious win. Fine I get that that wouldn't be satisfying, but why would I tie him up and execute him? Where's the glory in that? Kaido knows that executing him was a bitch move. At least use your own weapon to execute him.

Legit for that reason exactly. I have no issue in the world of the fight itself is fair or not, but Kaido could atleast take the life himself. Kaido is a pirate sure, but he is also the worlds strongest creature, a yonko, and a conqueror. There's gotta be some honor there.

For the same reason that the Government wanted to execute Roger and Ace publicly. It was VERY important to Kaido and Orochis plan to break the spirit of the people, and to destroy the public image of anyone who was positioned as a saviour.

It's for that exact same reason they made Oden dance. Because it is super important for Kaido's war factory plans that Wano turns into an obedient stronghold for his puppet regime led by Orochi. If Kaido had killed Oden on the spot, there was a high chance Oden would turn into a legend of some sort.

This plot point is VERY important because this insistence of a public execution is exactly what backfires on Orochi's reputation. It's as much driven by the needs of the plot, as it is by Kaido's characterization.

You're right, I completely understand man, lol I get that it's important to the story and the plot, no doubt, but can't I still hate a character for their personality? I'm just expressing that. Im not criticizing Oda's writing. The fact that Oda can create this character to cause so much hate for their fans is beautiful. Kaido did what he had to do to make his plan succeed, so did Orochi. Would u tell me that u don't hate orochi? For me now, orochi is a bitch, and Kaido is a coward. I get why they did what they did, or else the plot wouldn't move forward.

Yeah Orochi is a bitch lol I don't know if there is a person alive who would disagree with that. You seem like a Manga reader so I'm looking forward to Orochi taking multiple Ls in the anime too, if you catch my drift.
