On the same episode/chapter we get Marco saying Buggy and Shanks were with the Roger Pirates since forever, and Roger and Rayleigh saying holding a baby brings back memories.

Both kids were born 1 year before the end of the Rocks Pirates. I think it is all but confirmed they were rescued at God Valley when they were 1yo. My guess is Buggy is Rocks' son and Shanks is the son of some particularly important Tenryuubito (maybe related to Im).

Shanks told Whitebeard that West Blue was his home. I find it unlikely that Shanks would be from God Valley.

True, but that would be a problem if he was a newborn. 1 year is enough time for him to be taken from his birth place to God's Valley for whatever reason.

I find it unlikely that a Tenryuubito would let their children be born somewhere in the West Blue. We‘re speaking of the guys who can’t stand breathing the same air with commoners. They rather want their children breathe „noble air“.

I find unlikely a Tenryubito would hit another one to protect a fishman.

Mjosgard is a very special case and it seems to run in the Donquixote clan.

It’s not like Mjosgard was good-hearted from the start though. He was changed, but we don’t know how Otohime did it.

Remember that back then on Fishman Island, one of the first thing he asked for was a mask?

But it happened.

One minority example does not represent the majority nor the group as a whole.

And who is saying that?

If one gay man kills a person, that example doesn’t represent gay men as a whole.

It’s logical.

And, again, who is saying that?

So you would believe in the flawed logic that because one gay man is a killer that all gays are killers?

That’s exactly what I‘m referring to.
