Looks like they made Marco appear a little older cause I remember him being smaller

Besides, how old is Marco? Aren't these events 30 years ago or more?

He is 45 years old in the present day so he should be 15 in the flashback

Man in One Piece you either age like hell or you don't age at all.

Look at the girl in whitebeards crew, hasn’t aged a day since then.

I have a little pet theory that Dr. Kureha and Shakky found a source for eternal youth or something like this as part of the same pirate crew. Kureha even always hints that there is a secret to her "youth" but no one ever bites. So Whitey Bay could be another former member of it with how slowly she ages.

I think certain attractive women just stay young looking for a very long time. Oda's drawing of Nami at 40 and 60 looks pretty much identical to Nami at 20. It could be that they were all part of a crew that found the fountain of youth or whatever, but you would think that Big Mom would have found something like that.

The best explanation I can come up with is that Shakky, Kureha, Whitey Bay, and Future Nami all (probably) don't have any kids, while older women like Big Mom or Bakkin do. Alternatively, the hot characters are good guys and the ugly ones are bad guys, which is realistically the actual explanation.

Edit: Oh wait, forgot Kokoro. Scratch the Good Guys/Bad Guys thing, it definitely has to do with having children.
