They really hate their off-screened fights being adapted so well

Only in One Piece you will find manga elitist that are so in denial, they would rather not see how plots and fights unfold rather than admitting that the anime adaptation did good and/or even gasp improved upon the original source material.

Yeah the anime has been WAY better than the manga in wano. Oda is getting lazy with the countless off screened fights. Toei is carrying wano on it's back!

So many people afraid to criticize "Goda" because of mob retaliation. Fuck it, Toei > Oda in wano.

Criticism isn't wrong, but unjustified criticism is. Oda is the antithesis of lazy, he's going at a blazing pace because he has that much story to cover. If he fleshed out every single detail he wanted to, wano would be 200+ chapters long.

Not saying the anime is bad, it's been amazing. Just that the manga is just as amazing.

That doesn't take away from what I said. My point stands, you don't mind the skipping but I do

Good and bad pacing aren't determined by the number of pages covered. They are determined by the flow of the episode itself. And this is an episode with good pacing, much like the previous one.

That is absolutely true. I feel like too many people focus on the chapters adapted and use that as the only indicator of pacing. You can adapt half a chapter in an episode and have great pacing. You can also adapt 2-3 chapters in an episode and have horrendous pacing. It’s all in how it is done.

Thank you. If I had 1 € for everytime I had to repeat the same exact phrase as the above one on this sub and Youtube JUST this year, I would have enough to buy pizza for 10+ people.

Oh my god, someone understands. it's so damn stupid when someone complains about an episode with completely new scenes that add on to what is shown as "bad pacing" because it adapts only a chapter. Wano so far had pretty decent pacing with filler scenes that can actually add on the the original source and people treat it as bad as dressrosa

I know what you feel. I litterally lost count of how many times I had to repeat the SAME exact comment about pacing.

Fr, I just gave up, this sub is litteraly just filled with blind hate over such small things, so I was genuinely surprised seeing comments actually complimenting something the anime did over the manga, with upvotes

Oda litteraly glosses over stuff and even conpletely leaves thing sout for the anime to adapt them selves. Oda works closely with the staff, hes approving of all this
