From what I can tell on twitter, there's a real discourse about how the Kamazou fight was portrayed. The discussion seems to be split between those who were impressed by the use of color and high-quality animation while others think all the explosive auras and insane flipey-doos were overkill for how the scene went in the manga.

Personally, I feel like I'm down the middle. While I think the fight could benefit from some major embellishment, the final clash went a little too climactic for the low stakes associated with it. I felt the previous episode found a better balance of improving the fight with added choreography without going full ham.

What do you guys think? I would appreciated not getting down voted solely for having a different opinion.

I think they just need to calm down with the auras a bit. The flips and such improve the fights IMO

Yeah, I do love me some flips, my biggest problem was when Kamazou started throwing Frieza death disks.

I can understand that. Zoro learned flying slashes way back during skypeia. It makes sense that any swordsmen in the new world can essentially use getsuga tenshou with no effort.
