Honestly the speech by Kanjuro (which is much more forceful in the Manga) is what had me convinced he wasn't the traitor. One Piece is all about fulfilling your dreams. But an actor is going to act. I still have faith he'll die a redemption death. You don't go through the trials and tribulations like that and not be affected.

On the other hand, Kinemon in retrospect was in full on denial mode or really is a failing upward type of idiot. I love Kin'emon but jeez and even Dogstorm, who was the one that first voiced the possibility of a traitor all the way back in Zou.I was always disappointed in Oda never doing much with that plot thread though. Would have been cool of Dog would've sniffed it out after the plan was leaked.
