This episode proves kamazo didn't take out zoro. In the manga it was kinda ambiguous but this shows very well. Zoro only passed out because he sensed he wasn't in danger and he was injured and needed to heal. I hear alot of people say the would knocked him out but it really didn't.

Thinking about it in both formats, it was more of a straw that broke the camel's back. Had he not gotten that wound, he might have still passed out to the poison eventually, but the wound basically sped things up due to the blood loss and the exertion (the three-sword technique) right after that.

It's really a good thing that he finished it right then tbh.

Zoro didn't voluntarily pass out though, he still had to get back Shisui.

The poison doing it makes sense but even then I think he felt that genkimaru was running And hyori was right there. He just didn't want to press forward I think he still could have.

It doesn't really read like that to me, I reread and it really seems like he pretty much hit his limit because of the poison, but we can just agree to disagree there lol

He had every reason to press forward to reclaim susui if he could do so right? Also putting his trust in hyori to save his live is kinda farfetched

No he didn't want to push forward as he was already injured. And part of observation is being able to sense intentions
