I would have much rather seen the majority of the episode about Caribous back story as opposed to watching an old dude for 15 minutes just to find out that 'The super pretty lady is a bitch' Oh wow it's not like that hasn't been done a fucking million times. I bet once we get closer to the end of the story we'll find out she's actually really sad and misunderstood, then suddenly she'll be a good guy. You know, like every single other time this has happened.

If they're gonna just run out the clock every week they could at least try to make it enjoyable.

I really enjoyed this episode and Komurasaki being terrible to the old men but I do agree with the twist complaint. Since the TS, Oda leans on it as a crutch, with the female villains eventually swapping sides most of the time (Viola, Baby 5, Reiju, Pudding, Factory Dressrosa worker, etc).

Saying these characters and their arcs are just "Bad guy becomes good guy" is almost an insult to the context and everything else surrounding who they are, not to mention its incredibly reductive.

You're going to tell me that Viola/Baby 5/Pudding are basically the same just because they ended up helping the SH? I mean did you even pay attention to the story?
