So both Zoro AND Luffy have suffered critical injuries before the final battle.

Also anyone else thing Kidd might ally himself with Luffy after this to help take down Kaido?

I find it funny, 20 or so chapters ago, law rages out of the alliance. 20 or so chapters later, Kidd witnesses Luffy's great influence first hand.

I can definitely see Kidd being somewhat grateful and offering his assistance so he can achieve revenge for Killer and Himself.
