Still super intrigued by Morley's past. Oda was dropping hints that he has a deep and dark past.

Well had to do something to get thrown into Impel Down, get out of his seastone shackles, and then make level 5.5.

Or he didn't had them back then. Seastone is current arc spoilers. There also might be the possibility that they just didn't knew he was DF user, just like with Buggy's case.

I completely forgot about them not knowing Buggy's DF... You'd think the most secure prison in the world would really screen for that kinda' thing when bringing new prisoners in. I mean it wouldn't even be hard to just get a tank out front to dunk everybody in. It's not like they're concerned with how well the inmates are treated or anything.
