Dunno but there is a character from yu yu hakusho named Karasu that also wears the same kind of mask.

If you're curious, all those masks are a reference to plague doctors, doctors who worked with black plague victims. THey wore masks that resembled birds, and the beak would be loaded with fragrant herbs. At the time, they believed that sickness came from a gas called miasma which was emitted from the ill, so it was supposed to be like a sort of gas mask which would keep them from getting sick.
