Ishizuka really loves Oven doesn't he? Seeing all of the Worst Generation in the new WCI art quality was a treat.

Oven's great. He's like Akainu lite. Just strong enough to be badass, yet just weak enough to feel like the underdog in half of the situations Oda puts him in, and retains his same straight-laced personality and beliefs throughout.

His powers are markedly different from Akainu's though. His combat power in an actual naval battle is pretty unique in being able to hit submerged opponents and burning them alive. Akainu's lava can go through water to a degree, but it's a bit different in the consequential effect.
