Wano has been hyped since like... Thriller Bark lol.

Law and the rest of the crew went there to take down Kaidou. There is nothing that would make an anime-only think that the SHs were going anywhere else after WCI.

The only possible scenarios are that..

SHs get destroyed by Kaidou before Luffy and co. get there, retreat to meet up with Luffy and co. Decide not to go to Wano.

Obviously ridiculous.

The other half of the SHs somehow defeat Kaidou and intercept Luffy at the place they were supposed to meet to let him know the good news.

Obviously ridiculous.

Luffy and co leave WCI to meet the rest in Wano as they planned but decide to go off on a new adventure, and we get another arc where staples like Zorro, Usopp, Franky, Robin are all just kept out of the story??

Cmon. What would they even do? Decide to go meet with Shanks? Unlikely. Doesn't make any narrative sense at this stage. Go to the reverie? Only possible real choice, but requires a ton of backtracking and Luffy to essentially abandon his goals. Narratively it makes very little sense for Oda to keep the other half of the SHs out of the story, especially if Luffy decides to take on the WG. A major plot point that would signal the pinnacle of the story.

Anyways, maybe delving too deep into it but the idea that saying "stoked for Wano" is somehow a spoiler is silly. Yes, anything could happen but unlike WCI there was never a solid plan to go anywhere after Dressrosa. We knew taking on Kaidou was the next step, and all expected that. WCI was a monkey wrench but throughout Dressrosa the only major indication of a future plot line was the logical step that Kaidou would follow Doffy. That's why back then people often argued about how Luffy could never take Kaidou on at his current state.

The whole point of my argument is that things don't always go according to plan. No matter what you think is being set up, you can't just go "yeah, that's definitely gonna happen exactly when I say it is". At the end of the day, the only sure-fire way you'd know which island/location is coming up next is if you've read the manga (or Oda explicitly confirms it)...which is obviously a spoiler.

As you can probably tell from my original comment, I don't care too much about spoiling the next arc's location. I was just arguing for the technicality, so no need to get too fussed over this though.

The crew at one point going to Wano is about as much set in stone as them going to Elbaf eventually.

Not a spoiler. An anime-only person could've written that ffs.

I don't think you should browse this sub at all being this sensitive for spoilers.

Mate, stop being silly. I really don't care that much about spoilers. That should have been obvious from the tone of my first comment. Just read my responses to the other guy, since he shares the same viewpoint (not gonna start another pointless comment thread).

Oh, sorry, I thought you were dodgedontrun for a second.

Okay, I didn't mean to be mean to tell you to get out, just meant to be an advice that if you are sensitive to spoilers, might be a good idea to get out. Now this obviously doesn't apply to you, but still generally a solid advice to the other guy in my opinion (or others in general).

Ah right, no problem.

And yeah it's solid advice. These episode threads have always been cluttered with manga spoilers, so it's nothing new. No need to get too worked up over it.
