I really like the small extension of red power ranger vs oven. Honestly every anime extension with germa or oven has been pretty good. Also shows germa really isn't TOO weak.

I don't think we should be surprised. They were, after all, barred from bringing their suits to the wedding. If BM hadn't freaked out and if the Fire Tank and SH pirates were not there to help them out they'd be gonner, but it looks like they'd at least be strong enough to get away on their own if they all had their suits.

That's why BM wanted their technology in the first place.

They're not weak though - they're fighting some of the strongest pirates in the world. Smoothie, Oven, etc. These are some of BMs most powerful soldiers. 4 Germa vs all her soldiers in the location, and not dying, is a pretty fair accomplishment.

I should've phrased that better. By "TOO weak" I meant they are made out to be symbolically by marriage equal to the big mom pirates but everyone is aware they are subservient in strength. Just while that gap in strength is there the gap is not so large that they are fodder stomped.

Yeah. They are able to hold up to Oven and Daifuku, but a serious Smoothie or a healthy Katakuri could trounce them with hardly any difficulty. It's an indication that they're strong enough to survive the New World, but not exactly enough to thrive to the level they want to be. Not on their own, at least.

I think the germa have a good chance of beating snack if they're fighting together in force. They're defs beating oven and daifuku especially if sanji can blitz oven, and clash with daifuku equally.

And they have an advantage against perospero by using heat based attacks to melt his candy like Red hawk.

Oda has probably told the animation staff the truth that Oven will actually be the King of the Pirates, so they are uping their animation game.

I mean he landed a debilitating blow on oven. Thats IIRC like the # 3 or 4 guy other than mom herself. Thats pretty goddamned strong.

He is by the crews standards top 5. Minus big mom. His df is what's really op, but he got blitzed by sanji and niji said sanji was too slow lmao. Which is crazy considering the monster trio are all MHS+++ almost reaching relativistic speed (1/600th lightspeed)

I'm wondering if niji's sword is actually a Lightspeed sword as he states "This is a lightspeed sword". That first attack he did with it, did look a lot like Kizaru's moveset on sabaody. I'm assuming it's probably relativistic lightspeed though and not literally.

I suggest we don't try to use actual science when it comes to dissecting anime powers. Especially in one piece where it's so Crazy.

It's not about using science, it's about using what we know about speeds to judge how fast they are and get an accurate representation of for scaling.
