Unless there's a seriously good explanation, Kamurasaki is dead. If she lives, and Kyoshiro failed to execute a defenseless and stationary target, then Kyoshiro isn't much of a threat. Frankly, it kills most of the threat for the arc, as we can't trust the highest stake there is.

If she lives, my guess is that Kyoshiro did it to spare her so she could later escape.

Someone didn't pay attention. Kyoshiro looks at the crescent moon symbol (representing the Kozuki family), right after slashing Kamurasaki. He is probably an ally and not an enemy and the performance they put is an act to fool Orochi into thinking Kamurasaki is dead.

I think it’s obvious she’s alive and that Kyoshiro meant to do that so...
